Sea Prawns are freshly sourced from Kerala/ Quilon fishing harbor. We cleaned the prawns and dried in our In-house electrical dryer system.
With our new drying technology, we dried the prawns without any loss of nutritious contents. Even proteins which are sensitive to uncontrollable sun heat is also preserved. This will make our dry prawns tastier and healthier.
My Village Dried Sea prawns are fully cleaned by peeling the head-tail parts. Medium-Large size prawns are normally dried and the meat with covered shell is supplied.
Our dry prawns are 100% Natural and free from any chemical preservatives or additives.
These dried sea prawns are good to flavor dishes. Soaks the dry prawns in water for 20 to 30 minutes before using it in stir fries. This helps to soften the shrimp and release a bit of flavor. For hard chewy texture or for deep oil fry, no need of pre-soaking.
