Nawabi Dhaba Style Dal Makhani 1. Soak the rajma and black lentils (urad dal) in water overnight. Rinse them well and pressure cook until tender. 2. In a pan, heat oil or ghee and add chopped onions, ginger, and garlic. Saute until the onions are translucent. 3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy. 4. Add the Dal Makhani Rajma Masala, Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder And Salt to taste. Mix well and cook for a few minutes. 5. Add the cooked rajma and urad dal to the pan and mix well with the masala. 6. Add water to adjust the consistency of the dish and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes on low heat. 7. Add a dollop of butter or cream to the dish and mix well. 8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or naan. You can adjust the amount of masala according to your taste preferences.
